Although we do not have time to do personal research for you, we hope you will be able to help this site grow with your submissions.  The Prairie and Lakes Region of Texas is located in the North Central part of the state, situated between the Piney Woods of Texas and the Hill Country. As the name suggests it is made of of numerous prairies and lakes. Part of the area is known as the Blackland and Grand Prairie Belts through central Texas. The lakes of this region are manmade but, in abundance throughout the area. Skyline of Dallas, TX Rich in History from Ft.
