CANTRELL, Martha Britt (Walker)-was born 18 Apr 1861 in Carral County, Tennessee. When at the age of six years she came to Pulaski County with her father and mother William and Julia Britt, where she grew to womanhood. She departed from this life 24 Jun 1934 at 5:30 o'clock in her home in Mound City at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 5 days. In 1884 she was married to William Louis Walker who preceded her in death in 1898. To this union 5 children were born-Robert Lee, born 05 Jul 1885; James Oliver, born 04 Oct 1888; William David, born 04 Dec 1890 who died in infancy; Lovania Lee (Daniels), born 29 Nov 1993; Louis Franklin, born 02 Aug 1895 who died in infancy. The two remaining sons and daughter all reside at Ullin, Illinois. In 1902 she was married to Steve A. Cantrell of Mound City where she has resided since that time. No children were born to this union. Besides the husband, two sons, and one daughter, one brother, Gray Britt of Mounds, remains to mourn her loss. DANALS-DANELS-Little Helen Lorine Danals. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Danels was borne 23 Oct 1913 A. D. in Ullin, ILL's. After an illness of two months her soul took its flight to the eternal home 20 Mar 1917 A. D. age 3 years, 4 months, and 26 days. While the Angle of death has again come to the home and plucked another little rose bud in its tender youth, and hath borne it on their pinions of love to the sweet fields of Eden, there to transplant it to bloom for ever. With sad hearts we stand and face this the working of providence and under stand not why these things are so, yet we must sayt that God does all things well, and all things work together for a good to them that love the Lord. Little Helen leaves to mourn her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Danels, one little sister Bula, her grand parents, several uncles and aunts other relatives and lots of friends. Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church Thursday 22. by Rev. A. E. Bunton, the body was laid to rest at the Anna Cemetery at Anna, ILL's. DANIELS, Isabelle was born to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Biggerstaff 10 Mar 1853, departed this life 02 May 1931, age 78 years, 1 month, and 22 days. She was united in marriage to Thomas Daniels in early life and to this union were born five children, two having preceded her in death. Mrs. Daniels was converted at the early age of 14 and was a member of the Ullin Baptist Church, having lived a true Christian life to the end. She leaves to morn her departure one son, Ollie Daniels, of Ullin, and two daughters, Francis Daniels, of Anna, and Golda Essex, of Mounds, Ten Grand-Children, four great grand children and many other relatives and a host of friends. DANIELS, Ollie M. Daniels of Ullin, 76, died at St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo at 11:59 a.m. Sunday after an illness of several months. Mr. Daniels was employed by the Ullin Box factory for about 60 years, retiring two years ago. He was a member of the Ullin village board, on which he served most of his life. Surviving are his wife, Vinnie, of Ullin; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Holcomb of Ullin, Mrs. Frances Karraker of Bluford, Ill., and Mrs. Beulah Johnson of Dongola; a son, Morris Daniels of Ullin; a sister, Mrs. Frances Walker of Dongola; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by two infant children. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ullin Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Hobart Peterson of Anna assisted by Rev. DANIELS, Mrs.Vinnie-16 Nov 1959. DONGOLA, Ill.--An Ullin, Ill., woman was killed and two other persons seriously injured in a head on car crash about two miles south of Dongola Monday. The dead woman was Mrs. Vinnie Daniels, 62, a passenger in a car driven by one of her daughters, Mrs. Maxine Holcomb, 38, of Dongola. She was reported in critical condition at Union County Hospital in Anna. Another daughter, Mrs. Beulah Johnson, 45, was reported in fair condition. The driver of the other car, Roy Moore, 72, of Anna, was on the serious list at the hospital. Two passengers in his car, James Kissiar and Charles Hutchison, both 18 and both of rural Dongola, were not seriously injured. Illinois State Police said Moore started to pass a third car and collided head on with Mrs. Holcomb's auto. The third car was driven by Fred Coleman, 50, of Dongola. He, his wife and their three children escaped injury. Mrs. Daniels leave one son, Morris of Ullin; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Johnson of Dongola; Mrs. Frances Junkerman of Pinckneyville, and Mrs. Maxine Holcomb of Ullin; one brother, Bob Walker of Ullin; seven grandchildren and other relatives. The body is at the Stoner Funeral Home in Ullin where friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ullin Baptist Church with Rev. He also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bluford, IL. She was a social worker for a nursing home in Boubonnais. She is survived by one sister, Maxine Holcomb Carstens of Anna; four nephews, Jim Holcomb, Ron Holcomb, Barry Holcomb and Oliver Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one brother, Morris Daniels and two sisters, Beulah Johnson Goodwin and Helen Daniels. Graveside funeral services for Mary Frances Karraker Junkerman will be at 11 a.m. Friday, 28 Sept 2001 in the Anna Cemetery with Wesley Hazel officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, Thursday 27 Sept 2001 in the Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
