Welcome to Pulaski County, IL. Genealogy Trails!
My name is Leslie (McNier) Riney and I am happy to be your host for the Pulaski County Genealogy Trails website.  Although I no longer live in Pulaski County, I was raised there and attended schools in Villa Ridge and Mounds from 1963-1975.  I have many very happy memories and hosting this site is a personal way for me to keep them alive.  Being the host, I regret that I am unable to do personal research for you.  I am basically just the webmaster of this site and I transcribe and upload data which I have found or that has been contributed by submitters.

~~~~~Last Update 10 October 2008~~~~~
We are in need of any data that you can contribute to this site - If you or anyone you know has any info pertaining to Pulaski County, please email it to Leslie.  (If you have info for other areas across the nation, please feel free to also email that to her and she will forward it on to the appropriate host of that state and county.)
Researches are constantly looking to find information about their family trees. Material that you can contribute are birth/marriage/death records, cemetery info, military records, and even Aunt Ruth or Uncle's Joe's tales from the past!   All information is valuable to those researching their family roots!
Another interest that we are starting to add online are yearbooks from the schools in this area.  If you have one that you would like to donate, please contact Leslie for her mailing address and when finished getting it online, she will return the book back to you.
Pulaski County was formed in 1843 out of Alexander and Johnson Counties.
It was named in honor of Kazimierz Pulaski who was killed at the Siege of Savannah in the Revolutionary War.
Its county seat is Mound City, Illinois.
